Usher Reflects On The Performance While Sharing His Convo With Swizz
On Monday, February 19, ‘The Breakfast Club’ posted an exclusive interview with the singer via YouTube. About nineteen minutes into the conversation, Charlamagne Tha God delved into “unhinged moments” from the singer’s previous performances.
The conversation began off with Usher speaking on his 2014 viral VMA performance with Nicki Minaj. Nevertheless, he also shared his tackle his recent Super Bowl halftime performance with Alicia Keys.
Moreover, the singer appeared to deal with social media users who believed he was too affectionate along with his married collaborator.
“Under no circumstances was anything that was done there must have been viewed as bad or in any way perverted,” he explained. “No, it was literally about having fun due to a song me and Alicia made a few years ago. And we celebrated due to the legacy of it. And no disrespect to anybody or anything like that.”
From there, Usher explained that he and Swizz “absolutely laughed” concerning the social media opinions and memes during a conversation afterward.
