For context, the professional athlete has been making headlines for the previous few months for his family-related court cases, namely the one with Ayesha Howard.

Video Shows Anthony Edwards’ Response To “Child Support” Chants
For context, Ayesha and Anthony share an infant daughter named Aubri Summer. Howard can also be mother to a boy named Jason, whom she co-parents with rapper Lil Baby. In December, paternity testing, at Edwards’ request, established him as Aubri’s dad. Since then, court documents have stated the NBA player’s desire to only be involved in his daughter’s life from a financial standpoint. Other terms, similar to custody or visitation, aren’t a priority for him.
And he’s carrying the identical energy for one more child court case along with his ex-girlfriend, Alexandria Desroches. In March, he filed a paternity suit against her to determine himself as Amir’s father and define child support. He didn’t express interest in custody or visitation rights.
While all of THAT is a component of Anthony’s private life, Memphis Grizzlies fans clocked his tea on Thursday (April 10). At one point in the sport, the Minnesota Timberwolves player needed to step to the free-throw line. As he prepared to shoot, several people in the group began yelling, “Child support.” In a circulating video of the moment, Anthony Edwards smiled. Nonetheless, it’s unclear if the facial features had anything to do with the chanting! Like his child support cases, Anthony has not publicly commented on the heckling video.

This isn’t the primary time Anthony Edwards has been publicly teased over his personal life! In March, amid his court case with Ayesha, a girl went viral for refusing to purchase his signature sneakers. The trending video shows the mother telling her son no to Edwards’ basketball shoes, saying, “Put them back because he doesn’t maintain his kids.”
