Large parts of Spain and Portugal have been hit by an influence cut today.
Traffic lights stopped working as the electrical went off, with reports of Andorra also being affected.
Video showed chaotic streets in Madrid, with cars jostling at a junction as a result of lack of traffic control.
A reason for the outage has not been given.
Spanish power grid operator Red Electrica said it’s working with energy firms to revive power, with some still affected by the outage.
