A university administrator has died after allegedly being beheaded by a student in Poland.
It’s claimed that he began eating her body parts and licked blood from the axe that was utilized in the murder at Warsaw University.
The attacker entered an auditorium with the weapon and attacked several people at around 6.40pm local time (5.40pm BST).
Polish broadcaster Polsat News reported that the girl had been beheaded; nonetheless, prosecutors declined to comment.
Footage from the scene shows the moment that he was pinned to the bottom next to a blood-stained pavement.
Police arrested a 22-year-old Polish man, believed to be a third-year law student, in response to local media.
A member of Poland’s diplomatic police, who was on the university to guard the Minister of Justice, was amongst those that detained him.
An unarmed security guard who was also injured was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The rector of the university described the incident as a ‘huge tragedy’ and declared a day of mourning on the institution.
A press release said: ‘We express our great sorrow and sympathy to the family and family members.’
