Munawar Faruqui-Hosted The Society Trailer Out!
Sharing the trailer, host Munawar Faruqui simply wrote, “Ek Vault, 25 Contestants, 200 Ghante, Aur Bas Ek Rule: Survival”
The Society brings together 25 contestants who will compete in a high-stakes game that spans over 200 hours of gripping content. Contained in the show’s house, contestants are divided into three distinct social classes (Royals, Regulars, and Rags) each representing a unique level of power and privilege. While the sport begins with this hierarchy in place, every contestant is united by a single ambition: to climb to the highest and earn the coveted title of Asli Baazigar.
As the sport progresses, the Royals live in comfort and luxury, the Regulars find themselves caught in the center with limited resources, while the Rags must battle hardship and fight their way up the social ladder. Strategy, adaptability, and resilience are essential, as shifting power dynamics constantly redefine the playing field. In The Society, survival depends not only on strength, but on the flexibility to navigate a world that reflects real social tensions.
Munawar Faruqui On The Society
At the guts of the show is Munawar Faruqui, whose unfiltered humor and compelling life journey make him greater than just a bunch. His story from hardship to fame resonates deeply with the show’s themes, making The Society not only one other reality show, but a robust reflection of society itself.
Speaking in regards to the show, Munawar shared, “The Society isn’t only a game; it’s a mirror to the world outside. This show incorporates a house where contestants are tagged as Royals, Regulars, and Rags, each with their very own highs and hardships. But identical to real life, those tags can flip at any time. This show is raw and real. It tests how far you’re willing to go to guard your dignity and claim your house. Power shifts, loyalties break, and fear creeps in — but what matters is the way you play the sport. Because in society, dikhta kuch aur hai, hota kuch aur. The safest bet isn’t giving up and fighting till the top.”
