Alejandro Garnacho will rejoin his Manchester United teammates in pre-season training despite Rubem Amorim recently axing him from his plans.
United players have been making their returns to Carrington this week to start work ahead of the 2025-26 campaign with the squad jetting off for his or her tour of the US later this month.
At the tip of June, it was reported Amorim had made the choice to banish 4 stars from his pre-season plans with Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Antony ordered to remain away.
All 4 players – together with left-back Tyrell Malacia – have informed United they want to depart this summer with the club allowing the quintet to delay their returns with the intention to discover a recent employer.
Rashford has already reported back for training this week despite being told he can stay away with Garnacho now set to affix him.

The Argentina international publicly criticised Amorim following United’s Europa League final defeat to Tottenham, comments that appeared to seal his fate.
Amorim reportedly told his player to ‘pray he finds a brand new club’ in the times that followed that defeat in Bilbao with Garnacho omitted of the squad for the ultimate game of the season against Aston Villa.

On Thursday afternoon, the winger shared an image of him seemingly asleep on a flight with the caption ‘coming’.
ESPN now report Garnacho has been given permission to go back to Manchester for pre-season despite uncertainty over his future.
Chelsea have held interest within the 21-year-old because the turn of the yr while Napoli have reportedly made a fresh £45million offer.
Garnacho, who scored 11 goals in 57 appearances last term, was omitted of the United squad for the Manchester derby last December but fought his way back into his manager’s plans. Amorim singled out the player for special praise, hailing his ability and willingness to adapt to his demands on the training pitch.

But the previous Atletico Madrid teenager was omitted of the United starting XI against Tottenham at the tip of May with Mason Mount chosen ahead of him.
‘Until we reached the ultimate, I played every round. And I played 20 minutes today – I don’t know,’ Garnacho said. ‘I’m going to attempt to benefit from the summer and see what happens next.’
Amorim aimed a dig of his own back on the player, reminding him of the massive possibilities he was guilty of missing earlier within the competition.
“Some players are available, like Mason Mount against Bilbao [in the Europa League semifinal] and adjusted the sport. Who missed the massive opportunity in the primary half against Bilbao? Yeah [Garnacho].’
