Grealish, who City signed in a £100 million deal from Aston Villa in 2021, was in the identical VIP section as Guardiola, although the pair didn’t interact.

‘Jack and Pep were stood in the identical VIP section of the Oasis gig but at exact opposite ends of the stand,’ an onlooker told The Mirror.

‘Jack was in full spirits, belting every word while Pep appeared to be more family focussed. The pair didn’t interact with each other, no less than publicly, but they each had a fantastic night.’

Speaking last month, Guardiola told Grealish that he needed to rediscover his love for enjoying football after starting just seven games within the Premier League last season.

‘He had a conversation between him and the club and so they decided it was best [to stay behind],’ said Guardiola.

‘Jack is an exceptional player. The one reason why he didn’t play last season is after all my decisions. We determine that he has to play. The club was honest, he was honest.

‘We determine the most effective is to remain [behind] and have a spot that he can feel like he can come back to be the player like he was within the yr of the treble or all his profession in Aston Villa.

‘The actual fact is within the last two seasons he didn’t play much minutes. He has to return back to play and have the butterflies in his stomach that he can play every three days, every three days and show again the standard he has.’
