Two close friends from Bradford who were left seriously injured after being run over in Ibiza have been pictured for the primary time.
Mum-of-three Ebony Cordingley, 26, and mum-of-two Lauren Holmes, 27, are said to have suffered traumatic brain injuries and a number of other broken bones within the collision.
The pair were hit by a Toyota Corolla driven by a 24-year-old Spaniard just before 2am yesterday on the El-600 road between Ibiza and San Antonio.
Their relatives have spoken about how their worlds have been ‘turned the other way up’ as doctors do ‘the whole lot they will’ to avoid wasting their lives.

Ebony, from Bradford, West Yorks, is within the private Nuestra Senora del Rosario Polyclinic and her mum-of-two close pal Lauren Holmes, 27, in intensive care at Ibiza’s predominant Can Misses state hospital.
Ebony’s sister Shannon, who has organised a GoFundMe appeal for her sibling, said online: ‘On what must have been a blissful holiday in Ibiza, our beloved sister Ebony was struck by a speeding taxi within the early hours of Tuesday twenty sixth August, and is now in a critical condition in an intensive care unit.
‘This sudden and devastating accident has turned our world the other way up and our family is facing essentially the most frightening time of our lives.
‘Immediately, doctors are doing the whole lot they will, but the truth is that her recovery might be long, uncertain, and incredibly difficult.
‘We simply have no idea yet how serious or lasting her injuries might be. What we do know is that she is going to need time, care, and strength to heal and her three young sons need their mum greater than ever.
‘As a family, we’re doing all we are able to to support her and take care of the boys, however the challenges are overwhelming.
‘We don’t know what the long run holds, but we’re holding onto hope. Your kindness and generosity will make an actual difference as we face the long road ahead together. From the underside of our hearts, thanks.’

Ebony’s sister said she believed the pair were struck as they crossed the road on their way back from a meal.
She added: ‘They weren’t drinking, weren’t leaving any clubs, they played in a park on swings, went for a walk, went for food then walked back to their hotel, not realising the risks of the roads around there.’
The 24-year-old driver of the Toyota Corolla that hit the mums is claimed to have stopped and passed a drink-drive test. It was not immediately clear this morning if he had also been tested for drugs.
Local reports yesterday described the condition of Lauren, who has a young girl and a young boy, as ‘critical.’
Shannon said this morning: ‘I can’t offer you an update on Lauren’s condition in the intervening time, but Ebony has a bleed on the brain, bleeding in her lungs, broken leg, fractured leg, broken ribs and multiple contusions.
‘She’s being classed as critical in the intervening time, and after 2pm hopefully she’ll be categorised as serious but stable. That’s our hope anyway.

‘Our mum has flown out to Ibiza and is meeting with the embassy today.’
The Spanish Civil Guard remains to be investigating the crash.
The police force said today it couldn’t comment on whether the driving force was in a cab and what speed investigators thought he might have been doing.
