Thomas Tuchel has been accused of overlooking England star Jack Grealish for ‘personal’ reasons.

Grealish was one in every of the high-profile absentees from the squad Tuchel chosen for last week’s friendly against Wales and Tuesday’s World Cup qualifier against Latvia.

The 30-year-old, a Premier League and Champions League winner with Manchester City, missed out despite his revival in form while on loan at Everton.

Grealish has made 4 assists and scored one goal in his first seven Premier League appearances for Everton but his impressive form was not enough to earn him his first England cap since October 2024.

The dynamic attacker played for England at Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup but was overlooked of Gareth Southgate’s squad for Euro 2024.

That call left several senior members of the squad surprised and disenchanted but Grealish has continued to be neglected since England’s run to the Euros final.

Republic of Ireland legend Kevin Kilbane is baffled by Grealish’s continued absence for England and says Tuchel will need to have a ‘personal’ problem with him.

‘Jack Grealish ought to be a component of the England squad now, he ought to be with them on this international break,’ Kilbane told Metro on behalf of Best Recent Bingo Sites.

‘The shape he has shown this season and the way in which he has represented his country previously, I see no reason or any good excuse why he isn’t playing international football.

‘He could have to earn a starting spot because the squad is filled with talented wingers who’ve been present within the squad since he played for England.

David Moyes backs Jack Grealish England recall

Discussing Jack Grealish’s England aspirations after he was overlooked of Thomas Tuchel’s latest squad, Everton boss David Moyes said: ‘I believe there remains to be room for Jack to proceed to enhance; we wish more assists and goals from him.

‘He’s began thoroughly, he’s probably got the very best (Premier League) assists within the country in the mean time but we’re driving him on to get more.

‘I believe he still has ambitions to get back within the England team and if he scores some goals and keeps up the assists then he won’t be far-off as players who rating and create goals are so essential and England will need that because they need people who find themselves creative in the ultimate third.’

‘Even when he doesn’t start for England, he has the power to actually affect a game in case you bring him on with 20 minutes to go, and I believe he could be invaluable to have on the World Cup next 12 months.

‘I can’t consider a reason why he isn’t with the squad unless it’s personal. I believe it have to be personal.

‘Thomas Tuchel looks to have his plans in place, and it seems as if Jack Grealish’s face just doesn’t fit.’

When announcing his latest England squad, Tuchel insisted he had ‘no problem’ with Grealish or Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden, who were also overlooked.

Asked if he had an issue with Bellingham, Tuchel said: ‘No. There may be also no problem with Phil Foden or Jack Grealish either.

‘That is the choice, in the event that they prefer it or not. They know my appreciation, they know I clearly see and observe how good Phil is in the mean time for Manchester City.

‘Jack knows that I see how influential he’s for Everton and is on the option to being the very best version of himself. Jude knows he’s a special player. He knows that I do know he’s a special player.

‘So, they’ve to just accept it and nothing changes this decision against them or for the opposite players. It doesn’t change my appreciation for his or her talent and personality.’

England will qualify for next summer’s World Cup in america with two group games to spare in the event that they beat Latvia in Riga on Tuesday night.
