Avika Gor, best known for Balika Vadhu and now doing Pati Patni Aur Panga, tied the knot with Milind Chandwani on the show on September 30, 2025. During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the newlyweds responded to the trolls. After her first wedding look was out, some critics took issue along with her wedding attire, but Avika Gor responded gracefully, expressing that she felt confident and joyful along with her look. Avika Gor On Her Wedding Look
When asked in regards to the trolling for her wedding look and the way she selected this look, Avika Gor responded, “Thanks. (laughing) Toh yeh jo particular lehenga tha woh maine Instagram pe mahino pehele dekha tha. Aur uske baad maine designer ko message kiya tha, and naturally the designer was curious ki kya event hai, or whatever. Aur jab maine unhe bataya ki yeh meri real shaadi ke liye hai, toh unhe laga ki yeh bahut bai opportunity hogi, not only as a PR thing, but in addition kyunki unhone bhi humara show kaafi dekha tha, Balika Vadhu aur mera kaam. Unhone yeh express kiya ki unke liye yeh bahut badi baat hogi jab woh mujhe yeh gift kar sakte hai. So it was an exquisite wedding gift of sorts.”
She continued, “And it was a really sweet thing. It was like maine unki baaki designs nahi dekhi thi, lekin mujhe wahi chhaiye tha. Aur mujhe wahi acha laga tha, and I remember sharing that picture with him much earlier. Aur maine tabh bola nahi tha ki yeh foremost pehene waali thi, his (Milind) response after seeing was like surprised. Then he was like, ‘Acha yeh woh design hai’, then he understood. But I used to be so joyful and excited, the means of trial and all the things was just so beautiful.”
Avika Became Emotional
The Balika Vadhu fame continued, “Har baar woh pehente waqt, I used to be getting emotional, just like the day is getting closer. And, I feel every bit was perfect. He did have a look at me the primary time I entered, he was crying and have become emotional.”
On seeing Milind smiling at her, Avika asked if he was emotional. He said, “Nahi, nothing.” Speaking of if he was nervous, the newlywed said, “Matlab bahut hi acha hua hai sab. God has been kind, humaare parents bhi bahut ache lag rahe the. Colours executed it thoroughly, ek point pe bhi aisa nahi laga ki ya unhone aisa feel karaya ki yeh shoot hai. Unhone humaari shaadi ko shaadi ka importance diya, aur unhone feel karaya ki that is your moment. And to you guys (referring to the audience), jinhone itna publicise kiya iss event ko and to everyone who has helped. But yaa, she looked amazing toh thda emotional hogaya tha.”
Avika Gor REACTS To People Trolling Her Wedding Look
Speaking of being trolled for her look, the actress responded, “Nahi, I feel maine kisi ek ke saath (troller on social media) ke saath baat bhi ki. Aur maine bahut hi sweetly unhe samjhaaya ki, ‘It will be nice in the event you select kindness’. Aur maine sirf itna hi kaha, and the person on the opposite side said, ‘I’m sorry if it hurts your sentiments. However the review was in regards to the look and all the things. It was not something personal.’ Maine unhe wapis reply kiya ki, ‘God bless you, still select kindness.’ Then the video was deleted, which was enough. I realised ki foremost har ek ko nahi sikha sakti. I reacted to this person shayad kyunki maine unke videos pehele bhi dekha tha aur unka kaam bhi appreciate kiya tha. So I assumed possibly it was okay to message this person. But baaki logo ko itna kuch importance nahi dena hai. Firstly, I’m sorry if that was your idea. And secondly, if this stuff provide you with happiness in life, unhe mauka milta hai apni frustration nikaalne ka, then please, ‘Go for it’.
Milind added, “Easy Hai. Mujhe Avika ne ek line boli thi, and that’s where we’re. Inn logo ko itni khushi milni chahiye ki yeh log dusro ki khushi meij bhi khush ho aur problems nahi. Hum wahi pray karte hai, aur sabka dard hota hai, woh agalt jagah pe nikalte hai. That’s okay, we are able to take it. Humaari life bahut achi chal rahi hai by God’s grace. Hum le lenge.”
Avika-Milind Marriage And Trolling
Avika Gor faced trolling over her have a look at her wedding on the truth show Pati Patni Aur Panga and her first public appearance as a married woman. On September 30, 2025, Gor married Milind Chandwani on the show, with some critics criticising her bridal attire. In response, Gor stated in an interview that she was confident and joyful along with her appearance, ignoring the negativity. Her husband Milind, supported her, saying he believed she looked beautiful no matter others’ opinions.
After their on-screen wedding, the couple made their first public appearance, which also drew criticism—some questioned her “post-wedding glow” or claimed she looked older. This isn’t the primary time Gor has addressed body image issues. In October 2020, she shared her emotional journey of losing 13 kg after gaining weight because of lifestyle decisions. She admitted feeling insecure about her body, but through consistent workouts and healthier habits, she transformed.
