On the evening of Thursday, October 16, Brian McKnight took to Instagram to share a joint reel. This was shared with the account of his wife, Leilani McKnight. Moreover, he titled the reel, “$8.8 MILLION… Lawsuit won against Julie McKnight… B. McKnight vs. J. McKnight Case no. 25CV015388-910”

Moreover, within the clip, Brian might be seen smoking a cigar while explaining to viewers that “it’s been an extended journey attending to this present day, October 16, 2025… [but] the decision is in.”

“We’ve been quiet — listening to liars proceed to lie and keeping to ourselves, living and loving our life as we said, leaving every little thing in God’s hands [and] letting our lawyer do the talking,” Brian continued. “But in keeping with the courts, attempting to break my name and attempting to bring harm to my family with a book crammed with lies equals $8.8 million…”

As he continued, Brian explained that “anyone who helped promote these lies” will hear from his lawyer in the approaching days. Moreover, before concluding the clip, Brian noted that he was including a voicemail from a “liar.” Moreover, the clip began playing Julie’s voice.
