Next Gen NYC’s Ariana Biermann is celebrating one other trip across the sun days after splitting from Hudson McLeroy.
“Thanks for all of the birthday wishes,” Biermann, 24, wrote via her Instagram Story on Sunday, October 19, alongside a photograph of her blowing out her birthday candles. “And to all of the amazing individuals who celebrated with me I like yall!!! So blessed to see one other 12 months, here’s to 24!!!”
Biermann confirmed her split from McLeroy in an Instagram Story on Tuesday, October 14.
“Hudson and I actually have decided to go our separate ways,” she wrote on the time. “While this stuff are never easy, we each comprehend it’s what’s best for us right away. We’re so grateful for all of the love and support you’ve shown us through the years.”
She concluded, “Sometimes, life takes you in numerous directions and that’s OK.”
The following day, McLeroy addressed their breakup in his own Instagram Story statement.
“I feel like everyone deserves to listen to either side of our story,” he wrote on Wednesday, October 15. “I still and all the time will love Ariana.”
“She’s been there for me at times once I couldn’t be there for myself,” McLeroy continued. “I still have a variety of things I would like to heal from and cope with alone to grow to be the person I really need to be. I appreciate the entire love and support everyone seems to be showing us during this difficult time.”
On Thursday, October 16, Biermann revealed that she can be moving into her own place after sharing a living space with McLeroy. (The twosome moved to Recent York City together in July 2024.)
“Today is moving day, again,” Biermann said within the video. “I’m moving into my very own apartment. … First ever apartment in Recent York City. I’m the only person on the lease. I’m excited, but in addition a really bittersweet thing.”
McLeroy, for his part, shared in a Saturday, October 18, Instagram Story photo that he was in Atlanta, Georgia.
Biermann and McLeroy, who were highschool sweethearts, chronicled their first 12 months in Manhattan in the course of the inaugural season of Next Gen NYC. Ahead of the split, Biermann exclusively told Us Weekly earlier this month that she had “hesitation” about documenting her relationship on reality TV.
“It’s slightly nerve-wracking bringing someone onto a TV show with you and putting your whole relationship out for the world to see,” Biermann shared. “We’re very young, you never know. I feel like it could suck to have to observe that back if we weren’t together or things like that, nevertheless it is my life.”
Biermann, daughter of The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak, also reconnected with childhood friend Riley Burruss, daughter of Zolciak’s costar Kandi Burruss. (Zolciak and Kandi had a falling out on the fact show.)
“I’m so pleased we are able to show the world that it doesn’t matter whenever you stop being someone’s friend or what happens between your families — you possibly can still pick up and have a friendship outside of all of the bulls***,” Biermann exclusively told Us as a part of her Reality Stars of the 12 months interview with Riley.
“I used to be nervous, but we spent the day together, even outside of the cameras,” Riley added. “We became best friends in two hours.”
