Because the festive glow of Diwali brightens homes across the country, Shiv Shakti’s Lakshmi, Pragati, reflects that very same radiance each on and off screen. The actor, who has won hearts along with her divine portrayal, opens up about her journey, her bond with the solid, and her spiritual aspirations which might be soon taking musical form.

Pragati Tomar Opens Up On Getting The Role Of Lakshmi

“Truthfully, working with the solid of Shiv Shakti has been such a beautiful experience! Everyone seems to be super skilled, humble, and supportive. I feel really lucky to be a part of such a talented and positive team.”

The actor’s journey with the show began serendipitously. “Initially, I got a call for the role of Rohini. But after seeing my look and performance, the team decided to solid me directly as Lakshmi. And that’s how this beautiful journey with ShivShakti began!”

When asked about her camaraderie on set, she shares warmly, “I share a extremely great bond with my co-actor Srikant Dwivedi who plays Vishnu (Narayan), Most of my scenes are with him, so we spend a number of time together on set. He’s kind, easy-going, and dealing with him is at all times such a snug and enjoyable experience. And truthfully, the remainder of the solid is amazing too! I mean, what can I say everyone seems to be super lovely, kind, and supportive. Regardless of how much I praise them, it’s going to never be enough.”

While she continues to shine as Lakshmi, there’s one other passion near her heart. “If I weren’t an actor, I might have been a singer. Singing has been my childhood dream, which I couldn’t fulfill back then. But now, I’m super excited because very soon I’ll be launching my YouTube channel where I’ll be singing devotional songs. I’m a really spiritual person, and devotional music is something I really love in order that’s what I’ll be sharing with all of you! I actually hope everyone will like it and luxuriate in this latest journey with me! Jai Maa Lakshmi.”

Because the festival of lights celebrates latest beginnings, Pragati perfectly embodies that spirit, mixing art, faith, and purpose in a way that actually illuminates hearts this Diwali.
