Tollywood superstar Prabhas turned 46 on Thursday, October 23, and his fans received a special surprise on the occasion. To rejoice the actor’s birthday, Spirit director Sandeep Reddy Vanga released the much-awaited audio teaser of their upcoming motion thriller. The filmmaker, known for Animal and Kabir Singh, unveiled the teaser titled Sound Story across multiple social media platforms, sparking excitement amongst movie lovers.
The Sound Story teaser gives audiences an exciting taste of the film’s atmosphere through powerful background music and gripping sound effects. As an alternative of visuals, it focuses entirely on the sound design, constructing suspense and curiosity about Prabhas’ role. The film also stars Prakash Raj, Triptii Dimri, and Vivek Oberoi in key roles, making it one of the anticipated releases in Indian cinema. It is going to be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Mandarin, Japanese and Korean.
The 1-minute 31-second teaser was shared by Vanga in five languages—Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Posting on social media, the director wrote, “Pleased Birthday Prabhas anna. Presenting a ‘SOUND-STORY’ in five Indian languages straight from the center, for each fan who’s felt his.”
The teaser reveals intriguing dialogues that hint at Prabhas playing a former IPS officer and academy topper who leads to jail under the watchful eye of a tricky warden, played by Prakash Raj. The nearly two-minute-long clip sets the tone for Spirit’s dark, intense world. It opens with Prakash Raj’s commanding voice, demanding, “Ye kaun hai? Ye tera parade ground nahi hai. Walk fast.”
A voice responds, “Sir IPS officer hai sir. Academy topper hai.” Raj’s character shoots back, “Yahan alphabets nahi chalte hain. Only numbers. Khali takhti do isko. Details likho aur left right center har angle se photo nikalo.”
As tension builds, Raj continues, “Suna hai iske baare mein. Vardi pahne ya nahi, tevar chadha ke rakhta hai. Conduct issues ke wajah se ek baar terminate bhi hua hai. Dekhte hain is kaidi uniform mein kitni garmi dikhayega.”
One other voice nervously asks, “Kaidi uniform kya hai sir? Ye toh remand period hai.” Raj retorts, “Shut up. I hate civilian costumes in my compound. It must be either khakhis or kaidis. Saare kapde utaar do aur bhejo isko medical test ke liye.” Finally, Prabhas’ voice cuts through- “Mister Superintendent, bachpan se meri ek buri aadat hai. Right from my childhood, I just have one bad habit.”
Fans flooded social media with reactions, calling the teaser “pure goosebumps.” Inside hours, it crossed 859K views on YouTube. Comments praised the Prabhas–Vanga collaboration, with one user writing, “Prabhas + Sandeep Reddy Vanga = Wildfire,” while others celebrated Vivek Oberoi’s much-awaited comeback.
