Jobe Bellingham won’t push for a loan move to Manchester United within the January transfer window, in keeping with reports.

The 20-year-old played a key role in helping Sunderland gain promotion to the Premier League last term and was crowned the Championship’s Young Player of the Season.

Bellingham opted to depart Sunderland so as to join Dortmund at the beginning of the summer for an initial €32 million (£26.9m), plus an additional €5m (£4.2m) in add-ons.

Nevertheless, the midfielder has struggled to make an impact in Germany, starting just 4 games in all competitions thus far this campaign.

In accordance with The Mirror, United have been considering a loan move for Bellingham within the January transfer window.

Nevertheless, Bellingham, who’s two years younger than his brother Jude, is alleged to have little interest in joining United as they’re unable to supply Champions League football.

Speaking last week, Harry Kane defended Bellingham after his mistake in Dortmund’s 2-1 defeat to Bayern Munich.

‘He’s an excellent player with numerous potential,’ Kane said.

‘I’m sure he desires to play more immediately but that’s a part of learning at this level. He has an excellent future ahead of him, he just needs to maintain working.’

Bellingham’s father, Mark, also confronted members of Dortmund’s hierarchy, in addition to the team’s head coach Niko Kovac, after his son was substituted at half time during his Bundesliga debut in August.

Dortmund’s sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, was forced to remind Bellingham’s family that they will not be allowed near the team’s dressing room during games.

‘The energetic area at our club stays reserved for players, coaches and officials, not families and advisors,’ Kehl said.

‘This may not occur again. We have now made this clear to all involved.’
