Paul Heyman Called A ‘Racist’

Paul Heyman is amongst essentially the most beloved figures in WWE. The person spits fire on the mic, helped etch ECW into the history books, and is a veteran of the business. Nonetheless, even the acclaimed Hall of Famer has some haters online.

Carmelo Hayes Defends The WWE Hall Of Famer

A fan on Twitter posted, “Sources in WWE have said that Paul Heyman refuses to work with Carmelo Hayes, couldn’t even take a look at him within the eyes through the meeting in Creative and [Heyman] pitched Logan Paul to be a part of The Vision as an alternative. Man this fat pig really is racist.”

There was no source cited to confirm this, and it was done merely to create drama. The fan deleted the post, but others were quick to screenshot it. Nonetheless, Carmelo Hayes responded immediately to shut it down. He said, “Idk what you were trying to perform with this b******* post. This couldn’t be farther from the reality.”

Hayes Shares What Heyman Told Him 

While Heyman has not worked with Hayes, The Oracle does respect the young talent. During an interview with “Huge Pop Radio,” Hayes said, “Yeah, it’s definitely a learning experience and a growing pain (transitioning to WWE essential roster) and I’m super excited and joyful about my future and my position and I’ll put it like this, Paul Heyman type of smartened me up a few weeks ago and he said to me, he goes, ‘Look –’ he’s like, ‘You’re batting a thousand.”

“The one problem is you’re batting eighth.’ He says, ‘Should you take a look at the landscape –’ when you take a look at the landscape and — Shawn (Michaels), everybody’s told me the identical thing. It’s stacked! There’s so many top guys at once, there’s so many big stories and elements and things which can be happening at once. Only for me to be even to have the option to combine it up with those guys in between is a big honor and a pleasure and something that I sit up for as well.”
