“The girl I’m today would never use those words or express those sorts of views. Through the years, I’ve seen firsthand how cruel and harmful online hate will be, and I might never wish to add to that world of pain in any form. I actually have since deleted those tweets and my X account entirely, because I refuse to maintain that energy alive or contribute to a cycle of hate,” Nicole added in her recent social media apology.

Online, Nicole, who also starred in season 3 of Fox’s “Special Forces,” found unexpected support from some users who agreed that her posts from 2010-2014 should not be used against her, with one saying those years online “was a WILD time.”

“Don’t ever make me famous yall!!!!! I used to be vicious between 2010-2015,” one other user wrote.

Nicole’s Halloween Costume Goes Viral After Hitting Too Close To Home

Before her previous tweets resurfaced on various social media threads, Nicole was within the headlines for a very different reason: her Halloween costume.

As seen on social media and covered by The Blast, Nicole dressed as Grammy Award-winning singer Toni Braxton just last month, replicating the look from her Y2K hit single “He Wasn’t Man Enough.”

Nicole also shared an expert video of herself dancing to Braxton’s song, mouthing the lyrics, “What are you pondering? / Do you understand about us back then? / Did you understand I dumped your husband, girlfriend? / I’m not pondering ’bout him.”

And it didn’t stop there, the song went on, “But you married him / Did you understand I made him leave? / Do you understand he begged to stick with me? / He wasn’t man enough for me.”

While Nicole didn’t mention any names, many assumed her Braxton-inspired Halloween costume was a transparent jab at Swift, who, a month before, fans speculated wrote a line concerning the podcaster within the song “Opalite” from her album “The Life Of A Showgirl.”

Nicole wasted no time shutting down the rumors, nonetheless, explaining to her listeners that she’s “not within the business of tearing women down.”

In keeping with Nicole, she decided to pay homage to Braxton days before Halloween after being reminded of how much she loved the R&B track as a toddler. Nicole also shared one other personal anecdote from her younger years that cemented her love for the song.

She added, “I specifically remember driving home from private school in my little uniform at the back of a paddy wagon with [my best friend] Taylor, and her mom was playing this song. [Singing] at the highest of her lungs. It was just that ah-ha moment, like wow, white people take heed to Black people music as well.”
