In a gesture of kindness and reconciliation, Nagarjuna has withdrawn his defamation case against Telangana minister Surekha Konda, just hours after firmly declaring that there could be no compromise when it got here to slurs against his family.

Konda issued a public apology on Twitter, stating, “I had no intention of wounding or defaming Akkineni Nagarjuna Garu or his members of the family. I regret any unintended impression created by my statements in relation to them and withdraw the identical.”
Explaining his decision to withdraw the case, Nagarjuna said, “I do know I said in the case of family, there isn’t a compromise. If the attack was on me alone, I’d probably be more forgiving. But mudslinging on my family—that will not be negotiable. And yes, I said I’ll fight till my last breath. Nevertheless, the girl admitted she made a real mistake. I used to be advised to not let the matter drag on, probably for years. But public figures must be careful with their words.”
