Mike Epps Explains Why He’s “Actually Glad” Food Stamps, Or SNAP/EBT Advantages, Got Cut Off
On Thursday, November 13, ‘The Breakfast Club’ released their recent sit-down with Mike Epps via YouTube. Moreover, about 41 minutes into their discussion, Epps shared that he told those fearful about food stamps getting cut off, “‘Don’t worry about that.’”
“See, Black people, we been getting our s**t cut off. We been getting our doors kicked in and stuff. This isn’t for us,” he told ‘The Breakfast Club’ hosts.
Moreover, he explained that individuals shouldn’t take a cut off on food stamps “personal.”
“I’m actually glad that they’re cutting a few of these n****s off food stamps ’cause a few of us have to not be on food stamps,” he continued, seemingly referring to the tentative changes to this system. “‘Cause it’s a trickle-down effect. You get the food stamps, you then go buy the food that offers you cancer. Then, you eat the food that offers you cancer. Then, you’re sad, you walk around here upset, your food plan’s f****d up… I’m gonna let you know some honest to God truth: Your food plan done sent numerous n****s to prison.”
In turn, Charlamagne Tha God told Epps that the web could be “mad” about his stance and call him “MAGA Mike.” In turn, Epps brushed off the potential reactions.
