WBO featherweight champion Rafael ‘El Divino’ Espinoza (27-0, 23 KOs) weighed in at 125.4 lbs, while challenger Arnold Khegai (23-2-1, 14 KOs) got here in at 125.4 lbs as well during Friday’s weigh-in for his or her fight this Saturday, November fifteenth on the Arena Coliseo, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
A Stay-Busy Night for ‘El Divino’
It’s a stay-busy fight for the unbeaten Espinoza, who has been out of motion since May 4, 2025, when he stopped Edward Vazquez in seven rounds. Espinoza, 6’1″, has been avoided by the highest fighters at 126 because his size, power, and skills make him too dangerous for the favored fighters to tangle with.
Saturday’s Espinoza-Khegai and choose undercard fights will stream on the Top Rank Classics FAST Channel this Saturday starting at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT

Torrez Jr. Takes a Step Backward in Class
2020 Olympic Silver medalist Richard Torrez Jr. (13-0, 11 KOs) faces Tomas Salek (23-7, 14 KOs) in a 10-round fight. It is a big step down at school for the 26-year-old southpaw Torrez Jr. from his last fight against Guido Vianello earlier this 12 months on April 5, 2025. But with Top Rank’s eight-year cope with ESPN expiring last July, it’s comprehensible why he’s not facing a much bigger name.
Will Itauma Risk It? Silence So Far
“I need that fight. I need that Itauma fight. I feel that will be an amazing fight,” said Torrez Jr. to Sean Zittel on X about his interest in fighting Moses Itauma. “If anyone desires to know if he’s ready for Usyk or not, take a look at me. I’m a lefty, I actually have pressure, I punch so much.”
So far, there’s been no word from Moses Itauma about whether he’ll take Torrez Jr. up on his offer to fight him. Given the high risk involved for the British fighter, Itauma, it’s unlikely he’ll step up.
“Everyone says you may’t have a heavyweight that may be a Mexican champion, and I need to prove them improper. I need to be the primary. Well, not the primary. I need to be the second. I need to he the primary guy that defends a world title belt,” said Richard Torrez Jr to Gabe Rivas.
“I need to get to that #1 spot. It gives me that drive. He’s European fighter. He’s a veteran,” said Torrez Jr. about his opponent, Tomas Salek. “I’m excited to point out what I actually have to supply. We’ve been training extremely hard for the past two and a half months. I’ve been out since April. It’s been one in every of my longest layoffs in my skilled profession. I’m really excited to get back in that ring.”
