Madeleine McCann suspect Christian Brueckner resides in a woodland lair following his release from prison.
The 49-year-old was free of jail in September after serving six years for the rape of a 72-year-old woman in Praia da Luz, Portugal – where Madeleine went missing.
He was in the realm on the time of her disappearance and is the prime suspect within the case.
Brueckner is currently living in a tent in wooded area near a northern German city, based on The Sun, who visited the spot.
The convicted paedophile has recently moved from one other makeshift camp, which was also uncovered by The Sun.
The newspaper said he’s guarded by two female ‘helpers’ named locally as Mona and Mandy, in addition to a ‘vicious’ pit bull terrier.
The ladies denied they were romantically involved with Brueckner – claiming they were just helping him out.

Since his release, he has commonly been refused entry to hotels and homeless hostels.
He was also told to depart a city centre park where he’d pitched his tent near nursery.
Brueckner is hoping to start out a brand new life with a brand new identity outside of Germany, after a court gave him permission to depart the country.
It will mean the ankle tag he wears will now not work, a priority for police who fear they won’t have the option to maintain track him anymore.
But prosecutors are attempting to delay the move, and hope latest witnesses within the Maddie case will result in a brand new case being brought against him.
Breuckner was named as a suspect in Madeleine’s disappearance while serving his rape sentence.
He has all the time publicly denied any involvement, but based on one man, Helge Bushching, he all-but-confessed the kidnapping to him, by allegedly saying ‘she didn’t scream’ after they spoke of the case at a music festival in Spain.
In an interview with The Sun, prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters said that if Breuckner leaves Germany it’s going to be very difficult to proceed monitoring him.
‘But we don’t need Christian Brueckner here to maintain investigating. He doesn’t speak with us anyway,’ he added.
‘We’ll keep going so long as we consider there remains to be evidence on the market to seek out — and we consider there’s. One piece of forensic evidence or a brand new witness could crack the case immediately.’
He added that they hold more on Brueckner than the general public knows, and that there are other witnesses.
Although detectives have circumstantial evidence, they’ve not 12 months charged him attributable to fears the shortage of forensic evidence would affect their likelihood of a conviction.
In addition to his Praia da Luz rape conviction, Brueckner was convicted of abusing a lady of 5 in a park after images found on his laptop.
He was sentenced to 15-months in prison in 2016 but was on the run on the time.
