Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has generated significant buzz with the discharge of the highly anticipated teaser for his upcoming pan-India film, Varanasi. The teaser for Varanasi was unveiled at a grand event in Hyderabad. Priyanka shared that although Prithviraj appears intimidating because the villain, he is definitely quite different in real life. She also expressed her gratitude towards Mahesh Babu and her family for his or her support and hospitality while exploring Hyderabad.

Rajamouli described it as a deeply emotional moment. The director shared that seeing Mahesh as Lord Rama gave him goosebumps and called the Ramayana sequence probably the most memorable scenes he has created. Varanasi is scheduled to hit theatres during Sankranthi 2027.
