Nayanthara Reunites With Nandamuri Balakrishna After 7 Years; Makers Welcome ‘Queen’ On Lady Superstar’s forty first Birthday- Watch

On her forty first birthday on November 18, actress Nayanthara received a special surprise from director Gopichand Malineni. To have a good time the occasion, he unveiled her first look from NBK 111 and officially welcomed her to the project starring Balakrishna. This film marks Nayanthara’s fourth collaboration with Balakrishna, reuniting them after a spot of seven years.

Nayanthara Joins NBK111 As The Queen

Gopichand shared a video on social media, warmly welcoming Nayanthara aboard NBK 111. In his message, he wrote, “Here she comes… Welcoming the one and only Queen #Nayanthara garu into the world of #NBK111 (hug and heart emojis). Honoured to have her power and style in our story. Wishing you an exquisite birthday. Excited to see you on set soon.”

The primary look image features Nayanthara standing amidst what appears to be a battlefield, wearing a period costume. Her previous collaborations with Balakrishna include Simha (2010), Sri Rama Rajyam (2011), and Jai Simha (2018).

About NBK 111

NBK 111 is Gopichand’s second project with Balakrishna, following the successful Veera Simha Reddy in 2023. The film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and stays untitled. A press release states that Gopichand goals to bring his signature mass appeal to this project, which can be a historical drama for the primary time in his profession. The film is about against a wealthy historical backdrop, promising a compelling mixture of emotion and motion, enhanced by spectacular visuals and epic storytelling. The muhurtham puja for the film is scheduled for November 26.

Nayanthara’s Upcoming Projects

Nayanthara was last seen within the Netflix film Test and the documentary Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale. Besides NBK 111, she has Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, directed by Anil Ravipudi and starring Chiranjeevi, lined up in Telugu. Her upcoming projects include Mannangatti Since 1960, Mookuthi Amman 2, Hi, and Rakkayie in Tamil, in addition to Patriot and Dear Students in Malayalam. She can be set to star in Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups in Kannada.
