Schwarz says ‘heavy’ Gyokeres must ‘get a bit lighter’ and is already showing some ‘mental tiredness’ from his big-money move to the Premier League.

‘I imagine with Viktor Gyokeres, he’s not fully fit yet,’ Schwarz, who helped Sweden finish third on the 1994 World Cup, told Hajper.

‘As well with the brand new system, recent manager, and recent teammates, it takes time to develop the understanding. It’s not only the physical a part of it, it’s the mental part as well.

‘Mental tiredness perhaps from adapting to a brand new club, recent expectations, and better expectations from supporters across the whole world.

‘Nevertheless it’s a great partnership [Gyokeres and Arsenal]. And hopefully it would profit Sweden obviously and Graham Potter.

‘He’s in a powerful team. Arsenal has been fighting for the large titles, so perhaps he may also help the team to take this big step. But, after all, everyone seems to be a chunk of the jigsaw puzzle.

‘So everyone is very important, but after all, he has a giant presence. He’s a powerful, physical guy, and a great finisher with each feet.

‘Nonetheless, he must get his fitness up. I feel he’s in the correct team with Mikel Arteta and the players around him. It’s a unbelievable squad.

‘The standard shown by the players on the bench and the choices that Arsenal have signifies that Gyokeres won’t play all of the games because I feel they’ve lots of good options to make tactical decisions sometimes based on the opponent or the result in the course of the games.

‘The players within the Premier League are more powerful and faster than in other leagues.

‘The strikers will at all times be counted on for the goals that they’re scoring. Hopefully, he’ll begin to create and rating goals, have a great run, get that real boost, and get a bit lighter because he’s a heavy player. I feel that may help.

‘He didn’t have a correct pre-season, and it is advisable to play the games. You might have those six weeks to interact together with your colleagues, to know the movement.

‘When the midfielder makes the pass, you only must look of their eyes, you realize where they’ll pass it.

‘That’s a relationship that takes a little bit of time, and football is about tremendous margins. Take a look at Dennis Bergkamp, he was the very best at that.

‘Viktor Gyokeres will learn and rating lots of goals, and that may profit Arsenal.’

Manchester United legend Yorke, meanwhile, has seen enough of Gyokeres at Arsenalto imagine he’s ‘not world class’.

Yorke still expects Gyokeres to supply some decent numbers in north London, nevertheless, because of fact Arsenal often ‘dominant games’.

‘Gyokeres is just what Arsenal needed,’ he told Snabbare. ‘They needed a centre-forward they usually’ve got someone who can rating goals, even when he’s untested at this level.

‘He’s had an honest start. He’s a excellent player but he’s not world class. I wish to see my centre-forwards slightly bit more exciting than what he offers however the game has modified so he’ll do well at Arsenal because they dominate games.

‘The Premier League isn’t like other leagues around the globe. It’s not as easy because the Portuguese league.

‘He’s got to have a giant personality to walk in, like I did at United, and never feel like several of the opposite guys are higher than you.

‘It’s easy. Once we got out on the pitch, I needed to indicate them I could play. It’s not arrogance. It’s confidence in your abilities.

‘The expectation is on you as a striker. I don’t use the word pressure since you’re playing a game you realize easy methods to play. You’re not doing something you don’t know what to do.

‘That was at all times my mindset and if Gyokeres has that approach then I even have lots of admiration for him. If he finally ends up being just one other player within the Arsenal squad, he’ll find yourself being average.’
