Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood hit the nets in Sydney on Tuesday (November 25) and were seen bowling with the pink ball ahead of the second Test of the Ashes series between Australia and England. The second Test of this 12 months’s Ashes might be played at The Gabba in Brisbane with the pink ball from December 4 to eight. Cummins and Hazlewood missed the primary Test in Perth last week because of injury-related issues but their return to nets on Tuesday is an enormous positive for the Baggy Greens. It has raised the potential of them playing within the second Test.

In Hazlewood and Cummins’ absence, Brendan Doggett and Scott Boland played within the series opener at Optus Stadium and picked up 3 and 4 wickets, respectively, within the second innings.
