Kunickaa Sadanand Justifies Calling Bigg Boss 19’s Tanya Mittal ‘Materialistic’
When asked about Tanya Mittal’s fake and materialistic image, Kunickaa Sadanand said, “Haan, maine yeh baat usse address ki thi ki, “Tanya, tum jab bhi baat karti ho, tum hamesha apni materialistic cheezon ke baare mein baat karti ho, ‘Mere paas itna paisa hai, mere paas gaadi hai, mere paas security hai.’ Maine usse kaha, ‘Tum emotional baatein kabhi nahi karti ho. Tumhare emotions ya tumhare sapne kya hain? Aage tumhe kya karna hai?’ And you already know, she never addresses her emotional centre. She is all the time talking about bahar ki duniya, materialistic things. Toh maine usse yeh baat ki. Usne baat ko samjha, lekin usne aisa nahi kaha ki, ‘Achha, major kal se aisa karungi,’ kyunki woh uska game hai. Game hi yeh hai. Yeh kahani hi uska game hai.”
About Kunickaa Calling Tanya ‘Materialistic’
During her time on Bigg Boss 19, Kunickaa Sadanand criticised Tanya Mittal on several fronts. She accused Tanya of being “materialistic” and overly obsessive about searching for validation from outsiders, describing her as someone who craves material validation. Kunickaa reportedly advised Tanya to stop being a “daddy’s princess” and made comments about her wearing jewellery and sarees, implying she was overly concerned with appearances.
She also accused Tanya of playing the victim card and interesting in backbiting. The conflicts between them were fueled by their differing opinions on issues resembling women’s empowerment, with Tanya asserting that Kunickaa limited women to kitchen duties.
