Gorgeous Drops Apparent Receipts While Accusing Jayda Cheaves Of Stealing Her Clothing Designs
On Monday, November 24, Gorgeous Doll took to her Instagram feed to share a clip along with her followers. Within the video, which featured the on-screen caption, “JAYDA WAYDA STEALS EVERYONES IDEAS/DESIGNS,” Gorgeous explained that she just dropped a brand new collection of her clothing brand. Specifically, her recent collection features reversible tracksuits donned with removable fur on the collars of the hoods.
“So I dropped this the opposite day, and the following day I see Jayda — who steals everybody’s f*****g ideas… I see her post, ‘Oh, I’m dropping a velour jumpsuit. Oh, and I added fur, and the fur is removable,’” Gorgeous explained, referencing Cheaves’ recent Instagram Story posts.
Moreover, Gorgeous explained that she doesn’t own velour or fur hoods.
“But as a business owner, I do know that you simply all the time think two months ahead. So i’m just type of confused because if this was already something she was planning on doing, you’d’ve been promoted it, you’d’ve been able to drop at once,” she continued.
Peep her full initial thoughts below.
After explaining that she flew to China to create her designs and used real fur on her hoods, Gorgeous returned to her Instagram feed to share one other clip with the on-screen caption, “CONFIRMED… RECEIPTS FROM CHINA…”
In her clip, she showed apparent texts she received from her vendor in China, seemingly alleging Jayda Cheaves could have reached out to their company regarding similar designs.
The Waydamin Founder Seemingly Claps Back
Jayda Cheaves apparently caught wind of Gorgeous Doll’s claims. Shortly after Gorgeous’ latest feed post, Cheaves took to her Instagram Story to share a photograph of her velour suit with lyrics from Nicki Minaj’s verse on ‘No Frauds.’
Moreover, Cheaves then followed up with an image of herself rocking a velour tracksuit, apparently taken in 2021. This, with the on-screen caption, “all the time by myself mood board, tryna find ways to s**t on my old self.” Afterward, Cheaves posted a couple of flicks of herself rocking a pink velour sweatsuit before capping it off with a selfie alongside lyrics from Drake’s ‘Faithful.’
Gorgeous Doll’s Claims Aren’t The First Time Jayda Cheaves Has Been Accused Of Stealing Clothing Designs

Subsequently, Eaunoir Swim addressed the matter with an announcement.
“In July 2020, I reached out to Lawanda Jayda Waydas’ manager to propose Jayda wearing our bathing suit, and we settled on a payment of $4000 for her to showcase it…” the brand wrote on the time. “…When Jayda wore it, she tagged our Instagram page in her post and IG story. I continued to speak along with her about future arrangements and provided samples and design concepts for her to wear in 2021. Nonetheless, she expressed her deal with launching her own brand. By June 2021, we initiated the strategy of copyrighting the washing suit for legal protection. Despite having quite a few influencers and celebrities endorsing our flower bomb bathing suit, it’s disheartening to deal with the situation where hardworking women are taken advantage of by influencers who mimic our original work…
Moreover, Cheaves initially responded by stating that the brand’s swimsuit was on her “moodboard” for her brand.
Despite her apparent defense, Cheaves later apologized to Eaunoir Swim, adding that she would take the L and stop the swimsuit’s production.
