Vladimir Putin has once more declared that Europe should lose no sleep – based on him, Russia has no plans to attack in the longer term.
The Russian president called such claims ‘outright lies and nonsense’ as he acknowledged the US-brokered peace plan for Ukraine for the primary time.
‘We are able to write it down,’ the warlord offered, generously. ‘Perhaps that is sensible, meaning, if we wish to speak about it together, and discuss, and puts the dots together in the problems of European security.’
He confirmed that Russia is now ready for ‘serious’ talks, adding that a US delegation will visit Moscow next week.
‘There was a line of questions recommend for discussion,’ he said, adding that there aren’t any ‘final versions’.
Putin made the remarks to the safety council of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation, which incorporates Belarus and several other other ex-Soviet states, in Kyrgyzstan.
He took the chance to make many claims about Russian forces fully encircling Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, within the Donetsk region.
Putin also addressed considered one of Volodymyr Zelensky’s ‘red lines’ in ending the war – the give up of currently occupied territories in Ukraine.

Stressing that he eventually desires to make a cope with Ukraine, he warned that his troops are advancing fast on the battlefield and added: ‘If Ukrainian soldiers leave the occupied territories, then we’ll stop hostilities.
‘In the event that they don’t leave – we’ll achieve it by military means.’
Taking considered one of the ultimate questions at the safety council, Putin stressed that signing documents with the present Ukrainian leadership is ‘pointless’.
It comes after France announced a limited type of military service could be introduced, some 25 years after conscription was scrapped.
President Emmanuel Macron said the policy was in response to growing fears a few conflict with Russia.
‘The one technique to avoid danger is to organize for it,’ he said.
