Chris Pratt and ex-wife Anna Faris had a sweet reunion during Thanksgiving.
Pratt, 46, and Faris, 48, were photographed together on Thursday, November 27. The actress dropped their son Jack, 13, off to hitch his dad at a volunteering event to assist feed the homeless.
The exes, who split in 2017 after eight years of marriage, hugged while exchanging pleasantries through the transient meetup.
Faris kept it casual in a black sweater and matching pants. Pratt opted for a white T-shirt, jeans and black baseball cap.
After finalizing their divorce in 2018, Pratt moved on with Katherine Schwarzenegger, whom he wed in the next 12 months. The couple share daughters Lyla, 5, and Eloise, 3, and son Ford, 12 months.
Faris, for her part, tied the knot with cinematographer Michael Barrett in 2021. She is a stepmom to Barrett’s two kids from a previous relationship.
On Thursday, Pratt shared a series of snaps from this 12 months on social media.
“Thankful,” the Marvel star captioned an Instagram slideshow.
Since their split, Faris and Pratt have been focused on maintaining a robust coparenting bond for his or her son.
“We tried really hard for a very long time, and we’re really upset,” the pair said in a joint statement after announcing their separation. “Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we would like to maintain the situation as private as possible moving forward. We still love one another and can all the time cherish our time together.”
Faris later explained that she and Pratt prioritize their communication effort to make sure that they will effectively coparent Jack.
“What Chris and I attempt to do is to speak openly,” she said in an 2018 interview with Women’s Health. “We reiterate that there aren’t rules to this. We’ve quite a lot of love and friendship, and our big goal is to guard Jack. I cherish my family, my close friends, my child — that makes the remaining of it price it.”
When Pratt decided to propose to Schwarzenegger in 2019, Faris shared that she was thrilled for her to hitch the family.
“I so subscribe to the thought of, like, expanding family and love with Jack,” Faris explained during a 2019 episode of her “Anna Faris Is Unqualified” podcast. “[Katherine’s] awesome.”
In November 2022, Faris once more gushed about how “awesome” of a stepmom Schwarzenegger is to Jack.
“She’s just on top of it. I like how she is with Jack,” Faris told People, adding that she was grateful that the entire family was “getting much closer.”
Earlier this 12 months, Pratt and Faris reunited in honor of Jack’s sixth grade graduation. The duo shared an embrace while attending the ceremony, per Page Six.
In August, Pratt celebrated Jack’s birthday, reflecting on his son’s major milestone.
“I even have an adolescent???” the Terminal List star wrote via Instagram on the time. “Jack, I can’t consider you might be 13 today. I’ve watched you grow into such an incredible young man, and am truly happy with the person you might be becoming.”
