Gervonta Davis has claimed that Jake Paul called off their fight attributable to being beaten up in sparring – not the legal battles that the YouTuber has claimed.
Davis and Paul were attributable to fight back in November on Netflix, however the event was called off on the last minute when a civil lawsuit was filed against the 30-year-old. Ex-girlfriend Courtney Rossel filed suit in Miami-Dade County, Florida at the tip of October, and the bout was later cancelled.
As a substitute, Paul is facing a much different and more dangerous task in two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua on December 19. But Davis believes there’s a special story as to why the unique fight isn’t happening.

Gervonta Davis hits out at Jake Paul before deactivating X account in a rage
For the past few months for the reason that fight was cancelled, Gervonta Davis has stayed within the shadows, dealing together with his issues previously. But he today reactivated his X account to let fans in on his status, and declare what he feels is the true reason for the pull out.
“He was getting his a– beat in camp,” Davis said of Jake Paul in a tweet that has now disappeared together with his account after being live for a couple of hours. “I used to be gonna do him bad… But every thing happens for a reason that’s why I didn’t trip.”

He also addressed the allegations against him from the lawsuit, protesting his innocence by writing: “Shawty has a complete history going after men for money… It’s me so y’all believed it. Y’all couldn’t wait. More opportunities in da [sic] future though.”
Davis also aimed a swipe at Paul’s Most Useful Promotions, which he runs alongside former UFC COO Nakisa Bidarian. “MVP couldn’t uphold nothing,” he wrote. “Al [Haymon] needed to are available in to take over every thing… MVP IS GARBAGE! Y’all run nothing at Netflix. Y’all are only employees.”

In a recent stream with influencers N3on and Adin Ross, Jake’s brother Logan Paul explained that the bout was called off on condition that Davis has a history beyond just this latest lawsuit.
