Usher Gets Roasted By Sons On Instagram
Within the latest Instagram series called ‘Carversations,’ Usher was joined by his sons Cinco, 18, and Naviyd, 17, to debate growing up in today’s digital world. The primary episode, shared to Instagram’s official YouTube page on Thursday, shows Usher and his sons driving down a tree-lined street and discussing social media. From sharing who they’d wish to DM, to his sons seemingly avoiding the Close Friends topic, fans were definitely losing it. At one point, Usher asks Naviyd why the star hasn’t been added to his son’s Close Friends. Nevertheless, the teenager mocked his dad in classic teen style: “I’m not one among your little friends,” he said, fingers in air quotes.
Usher Tries To Make His Sons Add Him Back
The conversation gets even funnier when Usher asks Cinco about his Close Friends list. The teenager reveals he doesn’t even have one, resulting in a back-and-forth about people “wildin’” of their Close Friends. Usher joked that he doesn’t “be wildin’ in my Close Friends,” leaving his sons stunned. Best consider, they immediately asked if he even has a Close Friends list. Usher laughs it off but eventually tries to broker a deal: each of them must be on the opposite’s Close Friends list moving forward. Let’s just say it was a humbling reminder that even a worldwide superstar gets checked at home—hit records, designer matches, and all.
