Tim says he watched Joshua’s last fight against Daniel Dubois, which resulted in disaster for him, as he was knocked out in 2024. That performance by AJ has Bradley with “cold feet” about Joshua’s probabilities.
“I’m going to place five stacks on Jake Paul. The percentages are too crazy. That overhand right that Jake Paul got. It ain’t no joke,” said Tim Bradley on his channel, picking Jake Paul to defeat Anthony Joshua this Friday.
Bradley showed off an enormous wad of bills, talking about how he’s betting “five stacks” [$5,000] on Jake Paul to win. That’s a number of money for Tim to be betting, but it surely shows how much doubt he has in Joshua. Paul’s punching power is world-class. He’s a cruiserweight with heavyweight power.
“Joshua coming in light within the a** too. I don’t think it’s a great thing,” said Bradley about AJ fighting Paul at a catchweight of 245 lbs. “He [Joshua] said, ‘It’s all about money.’ It’s, but the way in which you said it, it’s a game to you. Jake Paul is all in.”
The catchweight is something that fans and the media have neglected. Joshua has been accustomed to fighting within the 250s. It’s not a fight that Joshua can afford to be weakened, because Jake is quick.
“I watched Joshua’s last fight against Dubois. I’m getting cold feet on this one,” said Bradley.
AJ was down 4 times in his loss to Dubois in 2024. The one round he wasn’t dropped was the second. The tip got here within the fifth when his trainer told him to “roll the dice.” He got here charging out initially of the round and was promptly flattened by a right hand from Dubois.
