Ruben Amorim’s offended response towards Leny Yoro within the Manchester United dugout was captured by a supporter in the course of the 4-4 draw with Bournemouth on Monday night.
In an exhilarating game at Old Trafford, United took a 4-3 lead through Matheus Cunha with 11 minutes remaining but Amorim’s side were unable to carry on as Eli Junior Kroupi’s neat finish from close range rescued a draw for Bournemouth.
The result leaves United sixth within the Premier League, while after the sport, Amorim made it clear he was unhappy together with his defensive unit after Bournemouth snatched a degree late on.
‘I believe we’re pressing higher, we’re controlling higher the sport removed from our goal. We’re lacking quality once we defend our goal. It’s something that we want to handle, after all,’ Amorim said in his post-match press conference.
‘I believe it’s different if you suffer so many goals and the opponent doesn’t have the identical amount, not even near, that we create, it’s really frustrating. But we want to work lots in the way in which we defend the box.’

Nevertheless, footage has now emerged of Amorim singling out Yoro for criticism to his United coaching staff in the course of the game against Bournemouth.
Within the clip, Amorim was seen returning to his seat together with his arms outstretched before shouting in Portuguese: ‘The sport has gone on for half an hour, what’s Lenny doing?’
Earlier this month, Amorim claimed Yoro ‘thinks to much’ after the 20-year-old looked disconsolate on the bench after he was substituted within the 54th minute in the course of the 2-1 win away to Crystal Palace.

‘I also spoke with him because he thinks an excessive amount of. He makes a mistake in the sport after which he struggles because he’s too young and he desires to do all the things so well. He’s growing with games and with setbacks, it’s challenging for him as a young guy,’ Amorim said.
‘He cannot give that [reaction] to the people, the way in which he got here to the bench. He understands that but he was really frustrated. It shows he cares.
‘He knows it wasn’t his best game but he did some things well and I showed him that. He’s fit and prepared for the following challenge.’
