Eddie Hearn shocked after learning offer sent by Dana White

Since moving into the world of boxing, the outspoken White has seemingly burnt bridges with those that are actually his competitors, Eddie Hearn being the foremost one.

Despite the friendship the 2 previously had, they’ve been locked right into a bitter feud over the past yr, consistently going at one another within the media.

One in all the explanations being that White is attempting to vary the Muhammad Ali Act along with his recent promotion, which hasn’t sat well with the boxing world.

And with that, Hearn recently learned about a proposal White and his promotion sent to a boxer to compete of their promotion.

Rumors recently circulated that Zuffa Boxing is scheduled to run their first show on January 23, set to be held on the controversial UFC Apex.

“January 23 is their first show that’s (confirmed),” Hearn told Boxing Social.

“No (I don’t know who might be on the show), I used to be with a manager the opposite day who told me about a proposal that they’ve made to considered one of their fighters, I couldn’t consider how bad the cash was.

“I don’t see why there ought to be an alteration to the Muhammad Ali Act, the Act is there and designed to guard the fighters. Respect the fighters, protect the fighters, I’m not gonna get right into a fight with congress, the geeza is mates with Donald Trump, what am I gonna do? It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know what they’re attempting to do.”

Could we see Dana White and Eddie Hearn work together in the longer term?

In boxing, it is amazingly common for promoters to work together, regardless that sometimes they aren’t keen on one another.

And although White and Hearn used to have a powerful relationship, it’s unlikely that White might be working with any of his fellow promoters within the near future, as he’ll look to remodel the game of boxing, similarly to how he has done so within the UFC.
