While GUNTHER is probably not in the great graces of many WWE fans since making John Cena hand over by forcing him to tap out to a sleeper hold he had cinched in on him during Cena’s last ever match at WWE Saturday Night’s Most important Event on December 13, that definitely just isn’t the case for WWE’s Lana. During an appearance on TMZ Sports’ “Inside The Ring”, Lana shared that she thought very highly of GUNTHER’s heel work and revealed she had develop into an enormous fan of his after watching his final match against Cena.
“In my view Rusev is the best heel, but GUNTHER is true there with him and naturally I will be a little bit biased,” Lana said. “You already know, when you consider a heel and you are like ‘Oh I do not like that person. I just do not like him.’ That’s a superb heel and that is what GUNTHER was doing.”
Although Lana did acknowledge that GUNTHER got on her nerves prior to watching his last match against Cena, she attributed his lack of concentrate on attempting to be a likable or cool heel character as the explanation for such.
“Sometimes as a substitute of doing a little fancy move, he’s just going to shove him after which like choke him out. All of us understand that. You already know, all of us understand getting choked out. It isn’t some crazy high-flying maneuver. I feel he’s so good with that. He doesn’t attempt to be cool on social media. He doesn’t attempt to develop into popular. He rides that lane of being like, ‘I will crush people’s souls. I will crush their dreams.'”
