A Philadelphia man now charged with murder has been accused of being accountable for the horrific death of his girlfriend’s toddler daughter, Us Weekly has learned.
The tragic incident unfolded on December 8. An emergency was reported inside a house in town’s Fairmount neighborhood, and when police arrived, they found an unresponsive Key’Monnie Bean-Partitions, 2, on the ground of the basement.
In accordance with prosecutors, she was hoisted onto her bed, and officers tried reviving Bean-Partitions using CPR but couldn’t. Bean-Partitions was rushed to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she was pronounced dead soon after being turned over to ER doctors.
Assistant District Attorney Ashley Toczylowski stated that Bean-Partitions showed signs she was severely beaten, perhaps with objects.
The little girl, investigators have since alleged, died due to savage beating Sean Hernandez, 21, delivered. He has been dating Bean-Partitions’ mother, Jeanette Partitions, cops said.
Hernandez, who also responds to Raafi Gorham, is now under arrest for murder, endangering the welfare of a baby, and weapons possession.
District Attorney Larry Krasner told reporters on Thursday, December 18, that the little girl’s murder is “an incredible loss.” Krasner said that it further appeared the kid’s airway could have been compromised in the course of the attack, possibly indicating she was also suffocated.
Krasner said that Philadelphians “needs to be outraged about what happened to this 2-year-old.”

Hernandez has yet to enter pleas to his charges and stays in jail awaiting a January 5, 2026, court appearance.
