“It was hectic (after the ODI World Cup win), but I need this sort of schedule after every World Cup, so I don’t mind that. But yeah, looking forward to this series, we’ve been waiting for a month when we’ll go to the sphere because end of the day we enjoy ourselves on the sphere,” Harmanpreet said while speaking on the pre-match press conference.

“So tomorrow, we’re going to start our first game, really looking forward to that. It’s a vital series for us and hopefully, all of us give our greatest shot,” Harmanpreet added.

When asked concerning the inclusion of multiple children within the team, the Indian captain said, “Our end goal is the subsequent T20 World Cup in six months and before that, we would like to play as many T20s as possible.”

“From tomorrow it’s going to start and a few recent players within the team; it’s the correct time to offer them a good likelihood to know how we’ve to go in the subsequent World Cup. So yeah, it’s a vital series for all of us and we just need to play with a free mindset and play how we’ve been playing T20s for the last couple of years,” Harmanpreet added.
