Brittany Snow Teases ‘Wild’ Death in The Hunting Wives Season 2

Fans of The Hunting Wives, be prepared to feel all of the emotions within the highly anticipated second season.

Brittany Snow, who plays Sophie O’Neil within the Rebecca Cutter-created Netflix show, recently teased to Entertainment Tonight on the 2026 Golden Globes that there’s a “wild” death within the forthcoming season, which also stars Malin Akerman as Margo Banks.

“Wild. Every script is a brand new adventure. They said that we couldn’t top last 12 months and someway I feel we’re doing it,” the actress shared. “I’m surprised. And I even knew what was coming a little bit bit. So I feel persons are going to be very shocked, I feel persons are going to be offended. I feel persons are going to be surprised and excited.”

“I don’t know if that’s an excellent or bad thing to say, but definitely people should watch,” she added.

Filming for The Hunting Wives season two is currently underway. Season one, based on May Cobb’s bestselling novel of the identical name, follows Sophie as she and her family move from Boston to a small town in Texas. She quickly grows close — possibly too close — to a socialite, Margo, and becomes consumed by obsession, seduction and murder.

When Snow was asked for her craziest response when she first read the season two script, the actress responded, “I stood up on my couch. Someone dies. I won’t let you know who. That may be a wild play. Wild behavior.”

And if fans thought The Hunting Wives couldn’t get more scandalous, Snow teased elsewhere on the Globes red carpet that season two may also include “more steamy” scenes.

“We’ve filmed some scenes, we played some Reneé Rapp. We got right into a groove,” she told Justin Sylvester on Live from E!.  “Quite a lot of things occur this season which might be very shocking. It’s gonna leave people very offended, but in an attractive way.”
