Fans should not best pleased with Dana White’s first offering as a totally fledged boxing promoter as he announced the complete card for next week’s show.
Zuffa Boxing is just six days out from launch, with the promotion announcing today the complete prelim card for the event officially. Callum Walsh headlines against Carlos Ocampo within the most important event, which had been confirmed prior, in addition to the 2 most important card bouts being aired on Paramount+.

While the fights are undoubtedly well matched, there may be a severe lack of star power across the show as they ease into their latest product. White is moving into boxing with a long-term plan in place, but that won’t appease fans wanting to see big names on prime time.

Once you have a look at the statistics, Dana White is delivering a boxing event stuffed with legitimate matchups that may test a bunch of undefeated fighters. Three of the eight fights pit unbeaten fighters against each other, and there are only nine losses between all 16 of the competitors.
Walsh has been White’s project for years alongside Tom Loeffler, and he takes one other step up against former world title contender Ocampo.
The 30-year-old has greater than double the professional experience with a record of 38-3, including 26 knockouts. His three defeats were all in world championship outings against Tim Tszyu, Sebastian Fundora and Errol Spence Jr.
The co-main event sees unbeaten contenders Misael Rodriguez and Austin Deanda put their zeros on the road in Las Vegas. That’s preceded by Julian Rodriguez against the 17-0 Cain Sandoval to round out a three-fight most important card.
On the prelims, Omar Trinidad takes on Max Orlenas, Floyd Diaz faces Guillermo Gutierrez, Emiliano Cardenas battles Marcus Harris and Robert Merriweather III fights Cesar Correa. Troy Nash and Jaycob Ramos could have the consideration of competing in the primary ever Zuffa Boxing fight.

For the reason that event was first mooted for the Apex, there was disappointment surrounding Dana White’s big debut show. Even a spiffy trailer and the tease of a brand new belt didn’t do much to excite fans, who were already upset in regards to the event being a small show.

Some fans joked that they’d have to be paid to observe the event, while others wrote: “Very strange that Paramount did this. All the card was worse than the typical PBC undercard.”
Nevertheless, not everyone was upset with the announcement. One commenter on Instagram noted that it’s a hardcore fan’s dream, replying: “If anybody knows boxing, this is definitely [fire]. Good job @zuffaboxing I believed when everyone doubted that you just guys would have good fighters and fights.”
