Matt Damon tells Henry Cejudo story

Joe Rogan told the filmmaking duo about his many interactions with UFC stars.

“They’re just like the sweetest, nicest, friendliest people on the earth,” he insisted.

Matt Damon agreed, before telling a story concerning the time he met Henry Cejudo at a UFC event.

The 55-year-old recalled being caught off guard by Cejudo’s stature, sense of favor, and unassuming demeanor.

“I remember going to one in all the events in LA. I feel it was at Staples,” Damon said.

“I used to be backstage and was talking to one in all the lawyers for the UFC.

“We were talking about Conor McGregor, and he was telling me an awesome story about him.

“This guy walks up, and he’s in chinos, like khaki pants, and like a blue button-up sort of business shirt with spectacles,” Damon said. “He’s very small, and I sort of don’t really regard him, and I’m still hearing this story.

“Then Patrick goes, ‘Matt, do you understand Henry?’ And I turn, and it’s Henry Cejudo,

“I’m like, ‘this f—ing guy could wreck me without delay. Absolutely f—ing destroy me’.

“And he’s the guy that some dummy would try to choose on, you understand what I mean?

“He’s not carrying himself like he’s [a tough guy], he just is the thing.”
