Canelo Alvarez’s next fight

Canelo Alvarez’s return to the ring was confirmed for last week.

He’ll headline a special “Mexico against the World” card on September 12 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

It’s currently unclear who might be Canelo’s comeback opponent, but Turki Alalshikh insists boxing’s biggest star could have one other very big fight.

“It’ll be named ‘Mexico against the World’”, the Saudi boxing chief confirmed.

“All of the fighters from the team of Canelo against the world and the champion within the primary event, in a world title [fight].

“It’ll be a surprise in Saudi Arabia. Inshallah.”
