Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women registered a giant 61-run victory over Gujarat Giants within the WPL 2026, sealing a playoff berth with a 5th straight win. Batting first on Monday, RCB recovered from early wickets due to a solid innings from Gautami Naik, who scored 73 runs. Smriti Mandhana also supported her well. RCB posted a robust total of 178 runs.
In reply, Gujarat struggled from the beginning as Sayali Satghare struck early with the ball. Ashleigh Gardner fought back with a half-century, but got little support. Gujarat were restricted to 117, helping RCB maintain their unbeaten run this season.
With 5 straight wins, RCB have consolidated their position at the highest of the WPL 2026 points table with 10 points and Net Run Rate (NRR) of +1.882. Alternatively, Gujarat slipped to 4th position after a second consecutive defeat. Defending champions Mumbai Indians are placed second with 4 points, followed by UP Warriorz. Delhi Capitals are positioned 5th.
