Lily Allen has seemingly chosen a side in the continuing drama surrounding Brooklyn Beckham and his estranged parents, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham.
Allen, 40, shared a painting of Brooklyn, 26, in a blue polka-dot ensemble via her Instagram Stories on Monday, January 19. The photo mirrored her West End Girl album cover, wherein Allen donned the identical outfit in the identical painted art style. (Spanish painter Nieves González is the person behind the unique album cover.)
The singer herself is not any stranger to drama of her own, as she previously revealed the album, released in October 2025, was “inspired by what went on in the connection” along with her estranged husband, David Harbour. (Allen and Harbour, 50, split in early 2025.)
“There are things which might be on the record that I experienced inside my marriage, but that’s to not say that it’s all gospel,” the singer told British Vogue that very same month.
Allen’s Instagram post got here just hours after Brooklyn took to his Instagram Stories to deal with the Beckham family feud at length, detailing multiple allegations against his family.
“I actually have been silent for years and made every effort to maintain these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no selection but to talk for myself and tell the reality about only among the lies which were printed,” Brooklyn wrote in an announcement. “I don’t need to reconcile with my family. I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the primary time in my life.”
Brooklyn accused David, 50, and Victoria, 51, of controlling “narratives within the press” about their family for his “entire life.” The chef blasted “performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I used to be born into.”
“Recently, I actually have seen with my very own eyes the lengths that they’ll undergo to position countless lies within the media, mostly on the expense of the innocent people, to preserve their very own facade,” Brooklyn continued. “But I imagine the reality at all times comes out.”
Brooklyn specifically referenced the drama surrounding his parents and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, claiming David and Victoria have been “endlessly” attempting to “smash” their relationship before the pair’s April 2022 wedding. He referenced a spectacle over Nicola’s wedding dress and alleged his parents tried to pressure him “into signing away the rights to [his] name.”
Moreover, Brooklyn claimed he was “rejected” during his father’s fiftieth birthday celebration in May 2025, claiming he traveled to London to attend the milestone affair.
“When he finally agreed to see me, it was under the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited,” Brooklyn alleged. He claimed his family later traveled to L.A. and “refused” to see him in any respect. (David and Victoria also share sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 14.)
Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for David and Victoria for comment.
Following the Instagram post, many fans took to social media to weigh in on the Beckham family feud.
“Seems like he’s setting boundaries and attempting to take control of his own life — tough but vital step,” one person wrote via X, while one other said, “It’s hard raising kids. Sometimes as a parent you simply want what’s best on your kids, especially in the present world where kids are exposed to all kinds of negative influences, but your kids may take that as being controlling.”
