The leader of Iran has been moved right into a high-security underground shelter as fears of a US attack loom.
It comes as senior military officials have warned of a heightened risk of US attacks as protests persist across the country, and Ali Khamenei’s forces proceed killing Iranians.
The bunker is believed to guard the leader in wartime scenarios, and his third son, Masoud, has taken over management of his father’s day-to-day ongoings because the Ayatollah shelters from potential attack.
Late last week, Donald Trump said that the US is moving warships toward Iran ‘just in case’ he desires to take motion.
‘We’ve got a large fleet heading in that direction, and possibly we won’t must use it,’ Trump said.
A US Navy official said on Thursday that the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and other warships travelling with it are within the Indian Ocean.

Tension stays high between Iran and the US within the wake of a bloody crackdown on protests that began on December 28, triggered by the collapse of Iran’s currency, the rial.
US President Donald Trump has repeatedly warned Tehran, setting two red lines for the usage of military force: the killing of peaceful demonstrators and the mass execution of individuals arrested within the protests.
Though Iran halted the execution of 800 people detained within the protests, Trump continues to be furious with how Khamenei has handled the situation.
Yesterday, an Iranian official warned that any attack from the US would result in ‘all-out war’ as Donald Trump sends an ‘armada’ to the country.

The Iranian official, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Reuters: ‘This time we are going to treat any attack – limited, unlimited, surgical, kinetic, whatever they call it – as an all-out war against us, and we are going to respond in the toughest way possible to settle this.
‘If the Americans violate Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, we are going to respond.
‘This military build-up – we hope it’s not intended for real confrontation – but our military is prepared for the worst-case scenario. That is why every thing is on high alert in Iran.’
Iran issued a chilling threat to President Trump live to tell the tale state TV, declaring ‘this time, the bullet won’t miss’ with footage of the failed assassination attempt against him in 2024.
