Erin Andrews’ sidelines looks are continuing to command attention after her faux fur coat viral moment.
Andrews, 47, rocked a black leather coat with dark brown fur trim while reporting on the Sunday, January 25, NFC Championship Game, styling her hair down. (The Seattle Seahawks took on the Los Angeles Rams in Seattle, Washington, for a spot within the 2026 Super Bowl in the course of the matchup.)
Fans quickly took to social media to praise Andrews’ look. “Erin Andrews wearing one other fire coat this week,” one user wrote via X, while one other added, “Erin Andrews putting on all her coats this postseason.”
Andrews went viral earlier this month when she rocked an Auter’s Fox Jacket in Sand Noir ($995) in the course of the San Francisco 49ers’ NFC Wild Card game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The coat featured a tan collar with black-and-white spotted fur lining and sleeves.
“It’s such a unique search for me. Within the wind, I understand it looked like a Beyoncé video,” she told Glamour in a January 13 interview. “It felt fabulous, it felt like an enormous event, it felt like an enormous wild card playoff game on FOX. It was the right time to wear this piece, and I’m so excited we did it.”
Andrews was gifted the jacket by Auter founder Rob Zangardi and later took the recommendation of her stylist by wearing the jacket to the matchup.
“I knew when my stylist, Daniela Romero, suggested I wear it that it was outside the box and super fun — and I believed Philly was one of the best place to do it,” Andrews recalled to the outlet. “I forgot I used to be even wearing it once I did my first hit with the NFL on FOX Pregame Show because I used to be so locked in. I used to be intro-ing Christian McCaffrey, and it’s the Wild Card, it’s an enormous deal.”
Sooner or later after Andrews debuted the look, PETA shared their support for her faux fur fashion moment.
“That’s the way you serve a showstopping look without harming animals 👏✨ Love that this coat is fake! 🙏” a press release from the official PETA account on X read, while replying to a post from ML Football, which shared a clip of her viral moment: “TRENDING: Fox sideline reporter Erin Andrews went viral for her wild coat in the course of the pregame show today. 🤯🤯🤯 Crazy fur coat.”
Andrews went on to share that she was pleased along with her decision to wear something daring, sharing on a January 15 episode of her “Calm Down” podcast, “I’m actually happy with myself because I’m super protected, inside the box [when it comes to clothes], and I used to be like, ‘That is fun! F*** it!’”
Andrews went on to emphasize that her coat wasn’t made out of real fur.
“What world do you guys live in, by the best way, that you’re thinking that as animal lovers, [I would wear real fur],” she said. “I’m not wearing real fur, you moron! I began [my Erin’s Farm] animal sanctuary!”
The following week, Andrews traded in her faux fur coat for a leather trench coat cinched at her waist while reporting on the 49ers and Seahawks’ divisional playoff game.
Users on social media continued to pontificate on her fashion, writing via X, “Erin Andrews looking fantastic ash I see you baby leather jacket n all that.” One other added, “Erin Andrews looking good af boi.”
A 3rd user, meanwhile, jokingly wrote that “Erin Andrews shaved her coat,” referring to the viral faux fur moment.
