Raheem Sterling has been tipped to revive his profession at one other Premier League club following his exit from Chelsea.
Sterling had 18 months remaining on his £325,000-a-week deal but reached an agreement with Chelsea to depart early.
Much was expected of the ex-England forward following his £50m move from Manchester City but he underwhelmed at Stamford Bridge and had not played a competitive match since May 2024.
Enzo Maresca placed Sterling in his bomb squad and latest manager Liam Rosenior was unwilling to supply the 31-year-old a lifeline.
Sterling spent last season on loan at Arsenal but did not make an impact for Mikel Arteta’s side, scoring only one goal in 28 appearances, most of which got here from the bench.
Now a free agent, Sterling will hope to revive his profession and is alleged to open to either staying within the Premier League or moving abroad.
Remaining in London could be Sterling’s preference and Jamie O’Hara believes Tottenham should offer him the prospect to just do that.

‘I believe he’s a superb player. He’s higher than what we’ve got. I’d sign him on a contract to the top of the season if he was willing to try this.
‘I don’t know what other offers he’s got when it comes to, he might need a long-term contract in Saudi offering him a great deal of money.

‘But when the candle remains to be lit and he desires to still be a Premier League football player I’d give him a chance at Tottenham.
‘I believe he still has the need. He’s been training on his own and he’s had his contract paid up.
‘He wouldn’t have gotten the complete settlement so he’s principally turned around to them and said I can’t be here anymore I want to go and play.
