Royal Challengers Bengaluru moved into the ultimate of WPL 2026 with their emphatic 8-wicket win over the UP Warriorz on the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium on Thursday. RCB limited UPW to a complete of 143 before racing to the chequered flag in only 13.1 overs, due to blistering half-centuries from Grace Harris and Smriti Mandhana.
Nadine de Klerk was the star with the ball as she claimed a four-wicket haul, while Deepti Sharma’s half-century and Meg Lanning’s 41-run knock gave UP a rapid start.
Nadine de Klerk struck twice in an over to do away with Lanning and Amy Jones. Harleen Deol accompanied Deepti on the crease before Grace Harris castled the right-hander for 14 runs, before she doubled up her wicket tally with the removal of Chloe Tryon for six.
Lauren Bell picked up her only wicket of the day along with her scalp of Shwetha Sherawat for 7 runs before Deepti brought up her half-century.
Deepti fell to Shreyanka Patil after posting 55 runs off her bat before Nadine de Klerk got here back to haunt UP with two more wickets, that of Simran Sheikh and Sophie Ecclestone, to finish her four-fer.
RCB opened the chase with Harris and Mandhana because the opening duo put the UPW bowling attack to the sword with some swashbuckling hitting.
Grace Harris smashed 13 fours and a couple of sixers in her 75-run knock off just 37 deliveries before falling to Shikha Pandey.
Georgia Voll added 16 off 15 before Asha Sobhana removed her from the center. Mandhana remained unbeaten on 54 off 27, as she took RCB over the road with 41 balls left to spare.
RCB took their season’ tally to 12 points with their sixth win in 8 outings, securing their berth within the summit clash of the WPL slated to be held in every week.
Gujarat Giants stand second within the table with 8 points, followed by Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals on 6 points each. UP Warriorz remain within the last spot with just 4 points in 6 outings.
