Cole Palmer is in line to return to the Chelsea starting XI against West Ham United this evening.

The England international was sensational off the bench within the Champions League midweek against Napoli, organising each goals for Joao Pedro because the Blues sealed an enormous victory in Italy.

Palmer’s injury issues this season have been fastidiously managed by Chelsea and while Liam Rosenior warned this week the club must proceed to ‘take care of him’, he all but confirmed his place within the side today.

‘[He’s] absolutely superb,’ Rosenior said on Friday.

‘He’s available to start out tomorrow, so I’m really blissful about that – like I’m when any player’s available to start out.’

Palmer has accomplished a full 90 minutes on just 4 occasions this season.

Chelsea are still without Dario Essugo after his recent setback while Romeo Lavia is one other still unavailable alongside long-term absentee Levi Colwill.
