Highguard Patch Gives Players What They Really Wanted From The Start

Highguard players have shared their desire for expanded match-ups, and the sport’s developer, Wildlight, has listened. Starting today and going through the weekend, Highguard is introducing an “experimental” five-on-five Raid playlist. This is not meant as a alternative for the sport’s three-on-three Raids, but it surely could potentially turn into a full-time a part of the sport.

Per Wildlight’s announcement, the 5v5 Raids could have 10 lives to players as a substitute of the usual six. It would also take barely longer to respawn during raids with a view to allow more time for generator bombs to be planted or defused. Wildlight cautions players that while the present patch has some optimization improvements, 5v5 Raids aren’t going to have improved performance.

The dev team also notes that Firing Range doesn’t support 5v5 yet, which is why the Play button will probably be grayed out when parties are over three.
