West Indies registered a 6-run win over South Africa on the Wanderers on Sunday, in a rain-marred game, because the Windies edged out the Proteas due to Shimron Hetmyer and Shai Hope, who added 48 runs each, with the previous also unbeaten, before limiting South Africa to 118/6 of their chase of 125 runs.
South Africa had already sealed the series of their favour, having won the opening two matches comfortably, while West Indies salvaged some pride with their consolation win in the ultimate outing.
